Shadow Of The Locust – Fire Bone

I just got a hold of this new track from the Shadow Of The Locust camp. They seem to be putting out some pretty dope tracks this year. Keep an eye out for Reveal (@eyereveal) and Black Symphony’s new album dropping soon as well.

“We at Shadow of the Locust are excited to present the next installment of our Year of the Locust campaign! For April we are bringing the listeners a new song called “Fire Bone”. This song is about the Holy Spirit and how He is burning within us to bring God glory in and outside of the church. As fellow christians we have been called to go forth boldly and proclaim the mighty message of The Gospel. We cannot keep our mouths shut, especially in these critical times we are living in. Jeremiah the prophet went through some trying times where the people of his day did not want to receive his warnings and the word of the Lord, to the point he did not want to even preach anymore. We get a great description on how the prophet was feeling in Jeremiah 20:9.

Jer 20:9 Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not.

Please continue to support the #YearOfTheLocust movement as we endeavor to bring new free music each month! and visit our website at www.Locustfist.com and follow us on twitter @ShadowLocust. With that being said, we present to you “Fire Bone” Enjoy some real Hallelujah Hip Hop!”
